HITM School focusing on cancer therapy Treatment Planning systems on 17.05-22.05.2021

The Heavy Ion Therapy Masterclass School will take place online between the 17th and the 22nd of May 2021, focusing on cancer therapy Treatment Planning systems. This school is intended for students and early-stage researchers to learn alongside and become a part of the heavy ion therapy research community which is growing across Europe.

Registration is free and participants will be able to attend daily lectures on a wide range of topics pertaining to particle therapy, accelerator physics, medical accelerators, and radiobiological physics. 

Furthermore, training will be provided for the simulation code matRad, a treatment planning radiotherapy software.

In addition, this masterclass school is an opportunity to network with other students and leading researchers, with social events organised each evening.
